The Reality

Cancer affects far more
than the body

For many people it brings sleepless nights, anxiety, uncertainty, fear of what's ahead and the challenge of finding your footing again after treatment.

Yet emotional support is often difficult to access and rarely available in the moments people most need it.

Kin is being built to help change that.

When life feels like this

Support for the moments that matter most.

"I'm scared about my scan tomorrow." "I can't sleep." "Treatment starts next week." "I feel overwhelmed." "I'm worried the cancer will come back." "Everyone thinks I should be fine now, but I'm still trying to find my way back to myself." "I feel alone." "I'm carrying grief that feels too heavy to hold alone."

Kin helps you find support in the moment.

Personalised breathwork, guided meditations, coaching reflections, journalling prompts and emotional wellbeing tools tailored to what you're experiencing right now.

The Founder

Built from lived experience and over a decade of supporting people through cancer.

I was diagnosed with blood cancer at 23.

For over a decade I've supported thousands of people navigating cancer through breathwork, coaching, mind-body medicine and emotional wellbeing programmes.

Today I serve on the Advisory Panel for Yes to Life, the UK's leading integrative cancer charity, as their Mind-Body Medicine Lead.

Everything inside Kin is being built from both lived experience and over a decade of supporting people through the realities of cancer.

Sophie Trew

Kin is the app I wish had existed when I needed it most.

Our Vision

The future of emotional support in cancer care.

We believe emotional wellbeing should be a standard part of cancer care, not an afterthought. Our vision is a future where every person affected by cancer has access to personalised emotional support alongside their medical care - wherever they are, whenever they need it.

By combining evidence-based tools, compassionate guidance, and personalised support, we aim to improve the lives of millions of people touched by cancer.

No one should have to navigate the emotional side of cancer alone.
